Gardeniser Course
18th March @ 10:00 am - 20th May @ 3:00 pm
£350

Our WISH Partnership is thrilled to support The Gardeniser course, presented by Oxford City Farm. This is an in-depth course covering everything but the practical gardening side of running a community garden or city farm, so if you work in the sector, have ideas for setting up your own site or are just interested in getting into the world of community gardening, then yes, you could be exactly who we’re looking for!
Apply here for the course. Deadline for applications is Sunday 22nd February. Please visit the website for more info.
– The course is hybrid with three in person training days as well as 5 online sessions.
– The in person training days will be held at Oxford City Farm, 10am-4pm on the 18th March, 15th April and 13th May.
– The online sessions will run every Wednesday from 1-3pm on the 25th March 2025 till the 29th April. There is a one week break on Wednesday 6th May before our last day in person on the 13th May.
– Following the classroom attendance the course requires around 40 hours of practical/homework which backs up the learning in the class (using your own experiences which may be useful for your existing projects or role outside of the course).
– Completion of the course, homework and online test will result in a Gardeniser Pro license.
– Cost: £350, we are hoping to secure some funding to offer bursary places at a reduced rate but this is not guaranteed. Please let us know in the application form below if you would like to be considered for a bursary place. We will get in touch about the bursary criteria if any funding is confirmed.
