We are currently fundraising to expand and make our new Waste Innovation Station Headquarters (WISH) space in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, more accessible and functional. The space offers a community hub and interactive climate change museum that empowers individuals to reduce their carbon footprint.
What we’re fundraising for:
- Widening entrance doors for accessibility.
- Improving lighting and ventilation.
- Installing a new water heater and making repairs (£1,400).
- Upgrading fire safety measures (£5,300).
- New uniforms for volunteers (£1,500).
- Equipment to prevent food waste (£500-£20,000).

Our projects
We also have several ongoing projects to support the community that always benefit from additional funding:
Cherwell Larder Marketplace: Distributing surplus food and essentials to those in need.
Climatarian Kitchen: Repurposing surplus food into inspiring meals while educating our community.
Harvest @ Home: Engaging the community in growing food locally.
Oxford Party Library: Reducing waste by sharing party supplies.
Why we need your support
We’ve had a tremendous impact so far:
- 450 meals served weekly with surplus and local food.
- 21,000 meals have been provided to support vulnerable groups in the last year.
- 50,000 participants engaged in activities in 2023.
- 16.6 tonnes of food saved from ending up in landfill.
- 149 tonnes of metal, plastic, and clothing diverted from landfill
