Local MP for Bicester and Woodstock Visits WISH
On Monday morning the team from Cherwell Collective CIC welcomed local MP Calum Miller to our WISH HQ in Kidlington.

After touring our facilities and meeting the team and learning about the work that we do within the community, Calum helped volunteer Steve Cox (Head of Cherwell Larder) set up food that had recently been donated for the general public to come and enjoy, putting his past experience in retail to use.

Impressed by the updates that were made since he last visited WISH, including our solar and air source heat pump systems and new kitchen that were installed last year and the work that we do within the community, Calum decided to pay it forward and purchased a three course senior lunch for our giving wall, which is where people can purchase a meal or drink for those less fortunate than themselves.

Finally Calum sat down with Victoria Russell, our Program Manager to discuss our work on the Good Waste Charter within Oxfordshire and our upcoming engagement sessions.
He was keen to learn about our findings and the impact of waste across Oxfordshire.
